passed away at his home on Friday; July 15th, 2016.

Husband of the late Sandra Lee (nee Adams) Banish.  Father of Thomas Banish, Robert (Karin) Banish and Susan (Paul) Perchaluk.  Grandfather of Daniel Banish and Steven and Kaitlyn Perchaluk.  Brother of Marie Stroka, Edward Banish, Nancy Gretzler, James (Charlotte) Banish, Robert (Patricia) Banish and the late Kathryn Dingos.  Visitation Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, 1075 Ridge Rd.; Lackawanna (824-4000), where services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.; Rev. Adolph M. Kowalczyk, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, officiating.  Entombment with Full Military Honors provided by the US Air Force Honor Guard will follow at the Sacred Heart Chapel Mausoleum of Holy Cross Cemetery.
