Joyce Marie (Chiuppi) Stather

Joyce M. Stather (nee Chiuppi) 80, passed away peacefully at home with family on June 14, 2017.

She was born on February 9, 1937 to the late Julius and Helen Chiuppi.  She was married to her late husband  Benno Stather for 22 years.  She is survived by her daughter Jeannine (Robert) Dembek, son Daniel (Krista) Stather, late step daughter Charmaine (late Peter) Kraemer, stepson Thomas (late Amy) Stather, Grandchild Braedon Dembek and four step grandchildren.  Survived by three sisters, one brother, loving nieces, nephews and companion of 10 years William Menninger.  

She was a member of the New Apostolic Church for more than forty years.  She worked at Westinghouse and owned her own beauty shop.  For the last forty three years was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother.  She loved to play cards, spend time with family and friends, gardening and traveling.

A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the New Apostolic Church 314 Pine Ridge Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14225.  Guests are welcome to call from 4 – 6:30 pm and service starts at 7:00 pm.
