of Lackawanna, at the age of 95 on January 3rd, 2018.

Daughter of the late Cornelius and Anastasia (nee Hickey) Downey.  Sister of the late Francis (Stephania) Downey, Marjorie (late Vincent) Mescall, Helen (late Salvatore) Yoviene, James (late Dorothea) Downey, Cornelius (late Lena) Downey, Joan Downey and Robert (Mary) Downey.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Visitation Sunday, from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, Inc. FUNERAL HOME, 1075 Ridge Rd.; Lackawanna (824-4000), where Prayers will be recited Monday at 9:45 a.m. followed by The Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Victory Basilica at 10:30 a.m.  Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Miss Downey was a member of the Lackawanna Retired Teachers Association, the Orchard Park Country Club and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas - Court Msgr. Baker.
