Donna C. (Corbin) O'Mara

Donna C. O'Mara (nee Corbin)

of Canandaigua, passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2025.

Wife of the late James P. O'Mara.

Mother of Maureen (Robert) O'Mara Kilmer.

Grandmother of Corbin and Timothy Kilmer.

Sister of the late Janet (John) Scholterer.

Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Formally of Buffalo, Mrs. O'Mara was a Registered Nurse and a member of the last graduating class from The Children's Hospital School of Nursing.  She worked for many years at The Children's Hospital and later at the United Cerebral Palsy Association, where she loved taking care of the children.  She was a  member of the Children's Hospital Alumni Association and the Camp Fire Girls Horizon Club.

Services are private.  A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials in Mrs. O'Mara's name to The Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation; benefiting John R. Oshei Children's Hospital.
