STATE, Edward R.
of Williamsville, peacefully passed at the age of 98 on August 1, 2022.

Beloved Brother and Uncle.  Son of the late John and Margaret (nee Schuster) State.

Predeceased by siblings Dorothy (late C. Robert) Farrell, Vincent (late Philomena) State and Mary Joan (late William) Christ.

Survived by his sister Betty Ann (late William) Morlock and many loving nieces and nephews. 

Ed was a humble, kind and generous man, a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and a proud union member with a long career as a diesel mechanic.

Visitation Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, Inc. FUNERAL HOME, 1075 Ridge Rd.; Lackawanna (716-824-4000).

The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica at 10:30 a.m.
