Husband of Katie (nee Dillon) Matte.

Father of John F., Jr. (Mary C. Kubera), James A. (Aaron Tymorek), Ashley C. (Fiance' Matthew Craig) and Nicholas (Megan) Smith.

Son of the late Joseph & Loretta (nee Zak) Matte.

Brother of Joseph (Nan), Mary Lou (Jerry) Herod, Thomas (Mary Higgins) and the late Nancy (Michael) Marks and Jerome Matte.

Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
