Lloyd J. Fuller Obituary

Lloyd J. Fuller of West Seneca, NY, formerly of Elkland, PA and Painted Post, NY passed away at the McAuley Residence in Buffalo, NY on October 2, 2022.  Born September 16, 1945 in Knoxville, PA he was the beloved husband of Bonita Fuller for 55 years, father of Robin Testa (Mark) and proud grandfather of Annemarie Testa. Surviving is sister Linda Allington, sisters-in-law Nancy Dibble, Margaret Fuller, and Allison Fuller, and predeceased by father Carmen Fuller, mother Marion Fuller, brothers Earl Fuller and Albert Fuller, and brothers-in-law Howard Allington and William Dibble.

Lloyd graduated from Cowanesque Valley High School in 1963. He attended Williamsport Technical Institute in 1964, graduated from Corning Community College with an Associate in Science in 1970 and Elmira College in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science. He served in the Army Reserves from 1967 to 1973.

He was employed by Corning Incorporated for 32 years. He was Sales Development Manager from 1976 to 1982, National Accounts Manager from 1982 to 1986, Manager of Sales Merchandising from 1986 to 1989, Sales Manager for Special Markets from 1989 to 1993 in which time the business grew from 12 million to 38 million in three years, Sales Manager for Serengeti Eyewear from 1993 to 1997, Vice-President World Wide Sales Manager of Serengeti Eyewear from 1997 to 1998 and Director of Mass Retail Sales for Continental General Tire of Charlotte, NC from 1998 to 2000.  After retiring he continued to work at Lowe’s in Orchard Park for ten years.

Lloyd enjoyed his family, building things, and particularly the game of golf. One of his goals was to be a single digit handicap which he accomplished. He played in tournaments including the LPGA Pro-Am in Corning and on many courses in the country, the highlight being Pebble Beach in Monterey, CA.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA on October 29, 2022 with visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 and service following.
