Mary Katharine Twist

of Lackawanna; January 31st, 2022.

Beloved sister of John H. Twist, DDS. and the late Frank J., Jr. (Rose Marie), Thomas H. (Donna), Robert J. (late Charmaine) and David D. (late Patricia) Twist.

Also dearly loved by 15 nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday 3-7 p.m. at NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, Inc. FUNERAL HOME, 1075 Ridge Rd.; Lackawanna (716-824-4000).

CURRENT COVID MANDATES WILL BE OBSERVED.

Friends are invited to join the family for The Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mary was a graduate of SUNY Buffalo State College where she received both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Home Economics. Later she attended Columbia University and received a Master's Degree from SUNY Buffalo in Secondary Guidance Education. She retired as the Director of Guidance from North Collins High School after 37 years of service in the district.

Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, donations may be made to "The Cause for the Canonization of Father Baker" at Our Lady of Victory Basilica.

The family expresses sincere gratitude for the compassionate care she received at Autumn View Health Care Facility.
