Son of Richard Thomas O'Connell and the late Michelle Ann (nee Petrusiw) O'Connell.

Brother of Danelle, Patrick and Amanda (Matthew) Taylor.

Uncle of Alicia, Paul, Jr., Morgan, Kyle, Max and Maeve.

Life-Long Friend and Pal of Patrick (Michele) McCabe and his family.

"Dog-Dad" of Tipsey and Spice.

Also survived by an aunt, uncles and cousins.

Friends are invited to join the family for The Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Charity Parish "Holy Family Worship Site", 1901 South Park Ave. on Monday, July 22nd at 9:30 a.m.

Burial at Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery will be private.

Mr. O'Connell was a Deputy for the Erie County Sheriff's Department Jail Management Division.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials to Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School and/or the Cazenovia Park Hockey Association.
