Nancy J. (Fox) Milewski

Nancy Milewski, 90, Lackawanna, NY, formerly of Spangler, died October 19, 2022 at home.

Born January 4, 1932 in Spangler PA, daughter of the late Oscar and Mary (Evans) Fox.

Preceded in death by first husband Donald Lowe and second husband Stanley Milewski, brothers; Raymond, Paul, Jack and William “Arch”, sisters; Rosemary Moffitt and Jane Webb.

Survived by children; Donald (Marsha Blattenberger) Lowe, Thomas Lowe, Mary Ellen Lowe, and Amy Lowe (Nathan Workman), 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. Nancy also leaves behind her precious paw babies Sugar and Spice.

Nancy was the last member of her immediate family. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was an avid Buffalo Bills Fan, “Go Bills”. Nancy had worked as for preschool bus aide in Lackawanna NY for 14 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Lackawanna VFW Post 898 for 50 years, and Lackawanna American Legion Post 1477, she was also a member of the Pennsylvania Social Club in Lackawanna for many years.

Family and Friends will be received on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, (Times to be announced). Committal, St. Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Organization in Nancy’s memory.
