Paul R. Diggins

of West Seneca, at the age of 85 on December 5th, 2020.

Son of James Diggins and Mary Schnorr, was the devoted Husband of the late Mary Jane Diggins and Step-Father of the late Laura Hallstead.

He is survived by his children; Paul, Shawn and Kathleen Diggins; he is also survived by three grandchildren; Mallory Hallstead, Elizabeth (Diggins) Kunch and Shane Diggins as well as two great-grandchildren; Aidan and Carter Kunch.

Paul built a career as a Crane Operator and life-time member of Local 17 Union in Buffalo, NY; alongside his wife Mary Jane, a beloved Teacher's Aide at Buffalo Public Schools.  He worked on important projects around Western New York such as the Walden Galleria Mall, Ralph Wilson Stadium and Interstate 90... making life-long friends on the job.

Raised in South Buffalo, Paul was a graduate of Bishop Timon High School and later became a resident of West Seneca for more than 40 years.

He was Catholic and dedicated his retirement to being a devoted Grandfather.  Paul is remembered by many friends who have known his humor, resolve and commitment to those he loved.  He is remembered as a man who led his life on his own terms, knowing what he wanted and doing what he wanted to do.

Paul is now reunited in spirit with his beloved wife Mary Jane whom he greatly missed.

A Memorial will be announced for May, 2021 in West Seneca. and he will later be buried beside his wife in Saratogo Springs, NY in St. Peter's Cemetery.
