Regina E. "Jean Gier
of Lackawanna, at the age of 95 on April 18th, 2021.

Daughter of the late Clarence J. and Katherine M. (nee Emerling) Gier.

Sister of the late Raymond E. (Chloe) Gier.

Cousin of Carole (late Arthur) Gates.

Visitation Thursday 3-7 p.m. at NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, Inc. FUNERAL HOME, 1075 Ridge Rd.; Lackawanna (824-4000).  Friends are invited to join the family for The Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, Friday at 10:30 a.m. 

The Funeral Mass will be Live-Streamed at www.olvbasilica.org/live-streaming.

Burial to follow at St. Martin's Cemetery; Langford/North Collins.

Miss Gier held a Master's Degree in Education & English from Canisius College, was a Retired English Teacher of the Hamburg/Frontier School District, a Published Free-Lance Writer and Poet, Historian of the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens and a member of The Scholarship Committee of The Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the NYS Retired Teachers Association.
