Of Buffalo, at the age of 79 on February 26, 2020.

Loving Husband of the late Carol (nee Plandowski) Doherty; Former Husband of the late Rose (nee Tesmer) Doherty and Father to their children Thomas III (late Chelsea Harper), Cynthia and Sherri Doherty; Grandfather of Eva Doherty; Brother of the late Jeremiah (Jerry) Doherty; Uncle of Kimmarie, Jeremiah and Matthew Doherty.  Step-father of Sharon (John) Battista, James (Mary) Geary Jr, Christopher (Tracy) Geary, Carol (Timothy) Whelan, Donna (Sean) Kelly, and John (Molly) Geary.  Tom is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to join the family for Mr. Doherty's Memorial Mass at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1140 Abbott Rd, South Buffalo, on Monday May 8th at 9:30 a.m.  Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery has taken place.
