Have 'known' Tony for many years because of our shared love or Jeff Gordon. Met Tony in the original chat room @ nascar.com. when that folded others from that room figured a way to start one that was part of the nascar chat buddies page. So happy most of us could keep in touch and chat while we enjoyed the races. Tony dubbed me his 'cyber wife'. It was an honor to have that title. You are loved and you are missed my dear friend. See you on the other side, where ever that may be. love your cyber wife lorik24

Miss Me – But Let Me Go!

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little – but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me – but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss Me – But Let me Go!

I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.
All is well.
Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before only better, infinitely happier.

Very sad that Tony passed. I only met him face to face a couple times at race tracks but often spoke with him on Facebook. We became fast friends and I shall always treasure the memories. Thank you for you life, my friend.

I will miss our conversations about pageants and queens and gossip. Your endless YouTube videos showing me what other people have done will always be embedded in my mind. I guess I can'tell bring you coffee at work anymore when you're bitching on Facebook about it, so I'll get you next time I see you

Tony, You were my friend from as far back as I can remember. How could I forget the Double C roller rink and matching band with you. You were such a great friend and my big regret was not stopping to see you the last time I was in Buffalo. I am so happy that you are no longer suffering, but I am so sorry that you are gone. Until we meet again my friend, just know that you were a one of a kind and I am so blessed that you were my friend.

Anthony my best friend of over 20 years! Nothing will ever replace the memories of a lifetime that we shared through pageantry and beyond. You were one of a kind and always put others before you. I will cherish you until we meet again and live in our memories until the day I die. I love you my friend. Rest well. I'll miss you always.

Remember Only My Best

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can any frowns –
And remember only my smile.
Forget any dark words spoken,
But remember the good I have done.
Forget that there ever was heartache,
Just remember the laughter and fun.
Forget that I stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way;
Remember – I fought some hard battles,
And won some, by close of the day.
OR Remember when people are hurting,
They don’t always mean what they say.
So do not grieve for my going,
And feel you forever must cry
But in summer just gather some flowers
And come to the place where I lie.
And then in the shade of the evening,
When the sun paints the sky in the west;
Stand for a moment beside me –
And remember only my best.

Our friend Tony...we didn't know you very well, only a few years. You will always be remembered for your kindness, smiles and hugs. You were by far the bravest person we have ever met. You will be sorely missed. No more pain & suffering... PEACE
